While excelling in mobility and portability, the compact body considers the weight balance of the advanced functions when shooting.
A heat-dispersing design including a newly developed thin fan enabled the smallest and lightest 4K 60p camcorder. By pulling in air from the rear panel of the camera and efficiently dispersing heat from the front panel, reliable, extended shooting is achieved.
Featuring Optical Performance for Precise Shooting
The lens covers the range from 25mm wide-angle to 600mm tele with a 24x zoom. i.ZOOM achieves 32x zoom with 4K resolution, and 48x zoom with FHD.
Face Detection AF/AE captures subjects free from out-of-focus and exposure problems. Color recognition improves tracking when faces move to either side.
In both UHD/FHD modes, in addition to Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization detects and corrects handshakes in the 5-axis direction.
High-Quality Recording with Versatile Modes
The HC-X1500 records a 4:2:2 10-bit color profile of up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mbps), or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mbps) with SD cards. The HC-X2000 also outputs 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p images via HDMI. New, highly efficient HEVC recording (LongGOP/10-bit 4:2:0/MOV) is also supported for recording 59.94p at a high bit rate of 200 Mbps. As for file formats, in addition to easy-to-edit MOV and MP4, 720p AVCHD 8-Mbps (PM) mode is included.
Versatile Network Functions Expand the User's Workflow
A Wi-Fi module is built-in, so there is no need for a separate wireless LAN module, and a Wi-Fi connection is possible with only the camcorder. Using a tablet application HC ROP, wireless remote control, including camera settings and lens control, can be set. RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS-Compatible HD Streaming allows direct connection and streaming over Facebook, YouTube, etc., of concerts, sports events, and news flashes.
Double SD Card Slot Meets Recording Needs
Two SD memory card slots are provided. With Unlimited Relay Recording, the recording media switches automatically and seamlessly from Slot 1 to Slot 2.* Simultaneous Recording or Background Recording is also selectable to match the workflow and card necessity.
