Tilta SSD Case for BMPCC 4K/6K Display Modification

The Tilta SSD Case for BMPCC 4K/6K Display Modification is an external case for board type SATA and NVMe SSDs, such as the Tilta-recommended Samsung and WD models listed below. This case can be used three different ways, with a Blackmagic Pocket or other camera.

It can be mounted directly onto the Tilta Advanced Kit for BMPCC 6K Pro. It simply pops into a dedicated space right in between the rails of the baseplate of this advanced rig for the BMPCC 6K Pro camera. Then just connect the case to the camera by running an optional cable from the case's USB Type-C port to the camera's USB Type-C port. Then, you can insert your SSD inside.

The second way is to attach the SSD Case to the Tilta BMPCC 4K/6K Flip Screen Modification Kit. It fits into a designated space behind the modification screen and plugs into the USB Type-C port provided there.

The third way allows the SSD Case to be used with most cameras. It requires using an optional Tiltaing SSD Drive Holder for NVMe/SATA, which is an accessory that attaches the SSD Case to a camera cage. The drive holder can be screwed into your camera cage via a 1/4"-20 screw, and the SSD Case pops into it. Then, you simply need to connect the SSD Case to your camera using an appropriate USB cable.

The SSD Case also features a built-in fan to help keep your SSD from overheating when recording for extended periods of time or when using higher data rates.
