Voigtlander APO-Lanthar 2.0/28mm E-mount Aspherical Black

The APO-LANTHAR 28 mm F2 aspherical E-mount was specially developed for the full-frame compatible mounts of Sony E-mount.
Optimized for full-frame sensors of Sony E-mount sensors, the apochromatic design almost completely eliminates chromatic aberration on the axis and other aberrations while achieving the highest resolution and contrast rendition.

The optical system consists of 8 groups and 12 lenses, including 6 lenses made of special glass with anomalous partial dispersion and 2 double-sided aspherical lenses. The lens also has an integrated floating mechanism. This ensures consistent image quality from the minimum focusing distance of 0.28 m to infinity. With its high speed of F2, this lens sets new standards for the performance of fast wide-angle lenses. The 12 aperture blades form an almost perfect circular shape, giving point light sources and out-of-focus objects a natural, harmonious bokeh.

The APO-LANTHAR 28 mm F2 aspherical E-mount combines maximum optical performance with a compact design - with an overall length of 58.8 mm from the bayonet mount. The APO-LANTHAR 28 mm F2 aspherical E-mount is equipped with electronic contacts so that the lens data is saved in the Exif information of the shooting data.

It also has an integrated distance encoder and is therefore compatible with cameras with 5-axis image stabilization in the housing, which use the distance information for subject stabilization.
The viewfinder image can be enlarged by turning the focus ring. The aperture ring rasterization is in 1/3 steps, but can be switched to stepless operation for video recordings.
A metal screw-on lens hood is included in the scope of delivery and ensures compact dimensions when the lens is mounted.
