Part of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the Neumann MC 9 is a clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck on the body of a guitar, ukulele, dobro, acoustic bass, or cello. The gooseneck attaches to the clip via a holder that rotates along one or two axes and locks in 45° increments to prevent cable twists and allow for precise and reliable positioning of the microphone over the instrument.
Easy to use, the MC 9 features a self-adjusting spring mechanism and a rubber coating that ensure slip-free attachment without damaging the sensitive surfaces on the instrument. You can use the included reducer to adapt the clip to particularly slim instruments.
